A 1/1250 scale metal model of a ROKS KDX 1 frigate, Gwanggaeto the Great, DDH-971. The three ships of this class (DDH-971-3) werethe first destroyers designed and built in South Korea. Gwanggaeto was the name ship of the class and the first to be commissioned in 1998. All 3 ships are in active service today.
