Rhenania 1/1250 RJ by PP 100 HMCS Algonquin, DDG 224, type15 frigate conversion, 1953-68

A 1/1250 scale metal model of HMCS Algonquin (ex-Kempenfelt, ex-Valantine), a type 15 frigate conversion on a wartime V-class destroyer from 1944. The conversion to AS frigate was done in Canada and is interesting to compare with British conversions. Algonquin spent most of her time in the Atlantic until withdrawal in support of NATO operations.
