Sub-boat MOLCH (Type XXVI) was a German submarine of the last years of the war in World War II, which was developed from 1944. It was designed as a kind of special submarine that was intended for use in surveillance and special missions. Although it has never been built or used to a larger scale, the newt represents the advanced technical ideas and developments that were pursued towards the end of the war.
