One of the most iconic fighter aircraft of the First World War, the Sopwith Camel was first introduced on the Western Front in 1917, close to the end of hostilities and a year before the official formation of the Royal Air Force. Although difficult to handle, the Camel was a highly manoeuvrable aircraft that could position its twin machine guns on enemy aircraft with devastating results, being credited with nearly 1,300 kills in total. Marking this centenary year of the founding of the Royal Air Force, Revell’s kit features finely finished parts with a fully detailed engine, cockpit and undercarriage.

A highly detailed model construction kit of the most successful British fighter aircraft of the First World War. The Camel was fast, very manoeuvrable and well-armed. About 5500 were built.
