Revell 1/24 53 Chevrolet Corvette Roadstar
The evolution of the Corvette goes back to the days of former Chief Stylist at General Motors - Harley Earl who, in the early 50s wanted to challenge the supremacy of European sports cars in the U.S. with a small, inexpensive, but sporty American car. The first Corvette was introduced early in 1953 and in production for nine years. With 115 bhp it was the first real American sports car and was unusually short with a length of just 4.25 meters (13 ft 11 ins). Its top speed was 172 km/h (107 mph). The C1 laid the foundations for this highly successful sports car from the Chevrolet brand-name. Instructions and authentic decals are included.
