To mark the end of Mk1 GTI production in 1983, VW created the special edition ‘Pirelli’ which included 14” Pirelli alloys, wheel arch extensions, a 4 - headlamp grille (leather trimmed), tinted glass and metallic paint, making this one of the most desirable GTI models for VW fans then and now. Revell marks the 35th anniversary of this landmark model with a highly detailed model of their own. Revell’s kit features a finely detailed body, engine and engine bay, opening bonnet, full interior, suspension (steerable front) , Pirelli alloys and rubber tyres. Additionally, this Gift Set version includes; Contact Professional cement, paintbrush and selected Aqua acrylic paints.
