This nifty little number saves a load of hassle. Most important where the engine is in-cowl, or for model helicopters where the glow plug can be hidden inside the mechanics. The business end of the lead is hard wired on to the glow plug, and the glow plug shaped receiver is fitted outside the model, allowing for easy glow supply.
