Laser-cut wood kit of a wood construction lineside platelayers hut with brick fireplace and chimney.
Lineside huts were built at intervals along the railway route to provide a place for the platelayers maintaining the line to store tools. Usually of simple wood construction a fireplace was provided at one end to brew tea and provide a more comfortable shelter in winter and poor weather.
