Neptun's fine model of the Zeppelin that was named after Princess Viktoria Luise the Prussian princess who was the seventh child and only daughter of Kaiser Wilhelm the German emperor. This was a civilian aircraft and gave day trips to passengers. In particular, there are several photos and movies of the airship flying over the battleships including HMS King George V at Kiel Week in 1914. After WW1 broke out this airship was used to train crew for military airship duties.
The airship was 148 metres long and its volume was 18700 cunic metres. Power was provided by 3 Maybach motors of 170PS.
A successful airship that nonetheless only lasted until 1916.
During WW1 airships of this type were used by the army and similar ones (a couple of mm different on the model) were used by the navy. (Navy airship L3 is the nearest match for size & contol surfaces design)
