Navis Neptun 34N SMS Prinz Heinrich, Armoured Cruiser, 1910 1/1250
A 1/1250 scale, metal model of a German armoured cruiser, Prinz Heinrich, designed for overseas service. She was faster and with thinner armour than her contemporaries in the Kaiserlich Marine based in home waters where she was recalled when Scharnhorst & Gneisenau went to Tsingtau to face the growing might of the Japanese Imperial Navy.
At the start of WW1, she was undergoing a major re-fit and because there was no role for her in home waters, she was disarmed and became a depot ship in 1916. Number in class: 1.
