Navis Neptun 1/1250 124N HMS Lion, Admiral Beatty's Flagship at Jutland

A 1/1250 scale metal model of HMS Lion in 1914 by Navis Neptun 124N.

HMS Lion is modelled with a small tripod mast, ahead of the fore funnel, as carried from 1914. Early in the battle of Jutland, Lion was hit by a 12" shell from Hipper's flagship, Lutzow, that almost proved fatal.
