Navis Neptun 1/1250 1461 La Fantasque French super-destroyer WW2
La Fantasque is a second-hand, 1/1250 scale, waterline, metal model of the lead ship of a French Super Destroyer class in WW2. This model is in excellent, original condition, see photograph.
1461 La Fantasque, Z 1936, Destroyer. 2.569 / 2.800 t, 37 kn. 5-13.8 cm, 4-3.7 cm, 9 TR 55 cm, 50 mines. 210 man crew. Fought against British invasion attempts in Dakar in 1940, and survived until 1959. 6 units in class, 2 of them self-scuttled in Toulon, rest broken up from 1956 onwards
