Navis Neptun 1/1250 1061 Z32-34, German Super Destroyers with twin turret forward
Z34 is a second hand, 1/1250 scale, waterline, metal model of the German Destroyer by Navis Neptun, catalogue number 1061. This model is in excellent, condition (see photograph) and shows the ship as designed with the twin 15cm turret forward. Z32-Z34 carried the twin turret at some time in their careers, so this model could represent those ships.
The weight of the twin turret made these ships very wet in a seaway and many of the class were fitted with a single gun in a lightweight shield instead (see Neptun1061A & B).
