Tirpitz is a second-hand, 1/1250 scale, waterline model of the famous Battleship in 1943 by Neptun, catalogue number 1001. This model of Tirpitz is in superb original condition. It was made about 20 years ago, at the peak of Navis Neptun quality and it has been stored under glass, out of diect sunlight in a warm and dry room. It has been carefully checked and re-boxed by Antics for resale.
Tirpitz differed from Bismarck in that she was fitted with torpedo tubes (taken from KMS Leipzig after that ship was badly damaged in the Norwegian campaign) for commerce raiding. The other obvios external difference was that the sisterships were fitted with different designs of cranes.
