Navis Neptun 1/1250 1065 Z1-4 type, German Destroyers of WW2
The first class of large destroyer to be built for the German Navy, after re-armament began, was the Leberecht Maas class of four ships, designated Z1, 2, 3 & 4.
The model represents any member of the class. For the first time, destroyers in Germany were given names (of WW1 naval heros) as well as numbers (Z1, Leberecht Maas; Z2, Georg Thiele; Z3, Max Schultz, Z4 Richard Beitzen.
