Mercator 1/1250 M512 SS Bremen, German Luxury Liner
An excellent second-hand 1/1250 metal model of Bremen by Mercator M512, see photograph. This model is a Skytrex product and made in England with the last style of plastic masts and the paint finish applied at the factory until production ceased.
The model depicts Bremen in her early days with short funnels and a small aircraft on a catapult. Built for speed, she was overtaken in speed and capacity by Normandie and Queen Mary within a few years.
