The World War Toons game based series plastic model kits presented by MENG and Studio Roqovan have been popular among global modellers. We have released the subjects from the industrial powers, but how about a tank from a smaller country?
The Panzer 38(t) was not a tank developed by Germany. In fact, this light tank was designed and manufactured by the Czechoslovak Skoda company. Thanks to its large road wheels, it had outstanding cross-country capability. It was equipped with the then main stream 37mm gun and its general performance was better than the German Panzer III at the same time. This tank entered service with the Czechoslovak Army in 1938. After Czechoslovakia was taken over by Germany, it was adopted by the German Army, seeing service in the invasions of Poland, France and the USSR. The famous Jagdpanzer 38(t) Hetzer in late WWII was also based on the chassis of this tank.
