Klabautermann 1/1250 KLA-X7 Rubis, S601, the much admired French Submarine after 1993

The six submarines of this class were smaller than most nuclear powered submarines of the period and they have been based at Toulon throughout their carreers. The model is based on the "Amethyst" reconstruction that reduced the acoustic signature with an extended, rounded bow and new engine mounts.
