Many tourists will probably remember the many different and often fancyful passenger ships in the small coastal harbours. Often such ships are converted fishing trawlers or work boats. After conversion and modernisation such a boat then serves as excursion boat for short trips as ferries as barges for harbour workers or as a local water taxi. Kibri has desigend its model after the general design found along the Northsea coast with ca. 16 m length 1.4 m draft and 250 HP engine power.
