The Fokker E.IV belonged to the first generation of German fighter aircraft of WWI. It was monoplane of typical Fokker steel-frame construction, powered by two-row radial engine and armed with three synchronized machine guns. The Fokker E.IV fighters entered service in March 1916. The famous German WWI aces Oswald Boelcke and Max Immelmann had air victories on the Fokker E.IV.
