Often called one of Corgi’s best Aviation Archive tools, this model features accurately folding wings like the real aircraft.
Operation Torch was intended to be the first show of force by the United States in the North African theatre, despite a general lack of available US hardware in the region.
As such, Fleet Air Arm aircraft from the Royal Navy were redressed with US insignia during the invasion of French North Africa.
This Fairey Swordfish is as a result a unique model in the range, and has been requested for years
