The model represents the scenein the C21st with the old lighthouse at the top of the cliff returned to its original condition and now a museum and the 1957 concrete tower on the shoulder of the cliff is the current, automated light.
The concrete tower is a standard design that was built on the Atlantic seaboard of Canada in the 1950s, including at Peggy's Cove in Nova Scotia. Some lighthouses in Maine in USA were built to a similar tapered octagonal design many years earlier.
