Coastlines 1/1250 CL-HM-A16 Fink II, U-boat Bunker, Hamburg
A 1/1250 scale resin waterline model of Fink II a concrete covered dock for the fitting out, repair and re-supply of German submarines at Hamburg by Coastlines Models CL-HM-A16.
The roof is a separate casting, allowing interior detail to be seen.
The structure was destroyed by the Allies after WW2 and burried only to be re-discovered recently when the runway at Hamburg Airport was being extended. The site has been cleared and there are moves to preserve the ruin. The model shows the bunker shortly after construction with minimal weathering and AA guns on the roof.
