Coastlines 1/1250 CL-EX10 Small Caliber Shell Splashes, eight pieces

Small caliber shell splashes were originally designed to accompany 1/1200 scale warship models in a naval wargame. The models were sold as white metal castings in packs of eight. These models have been fettled and painted by Coastlines Models CL-EX10.

The photograph shows a 1/1250 destroyer (the Argonaut model of HMS Lincoln) coming under fire from similar ships or the secondary armament of a large ship. This ship model is not included in the pack.

These splashes could be used to represent large caliber shell splashes in 1/2000 or 1/3000 scale or small bombs dropped from aircraft etc. etc.
