Coastlines 1/1250 CL-EX04 Magazine explosion
A 1/1250 scale model of the initial blast pattern from a warship magazine explosion by Coastlines Models CL-EX04.
The lightweight resin casting was modelled on photographs of the USS Arizona's forward magazine exploding during the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941 and includes the plume of soot blown out of the funnel as the blast entered the boiler room but does not include the Neptun model of USS Arizona shown in the photograph.
The explosion casting fits over the bow or stern of many different warships without adaptation either to the ship model or blast pattern moulding.
