Coastlines 1/1250 CL-CAS07 British Airship R100 on the transatlantic voyages

A 1/1250 scale model of the British airship R100 produced by Coastlines Models from a 3-D printed Classic Airships model.

This model differs from the Navis Neptun model in that it incorporates the changes made to the airship after testing to prepare her for the return transatlantic voyages. The most noticeable difference is that the pointed fabric-covered tail cone was replaced with a rounded aluminium one, see photograph. This model is not provided with a stand since the model is light enough (9g) to stand on its landing pads without support and it is painted in aluminium metallic paint with bespoke decals.
