CM Models 1/1250 CM-KR595 R-One Renaissance Cruises 1998

A 1/1250 scale model of R-One from 1998-2001 by CM Miniaturen CM-KR595.

R-One was the first of eight Renaissance Cruises R-class ships to be built and enter service. Unfortunately, in 2001, the company went into liquidation and the ships were laid up, chartered to other companies many of whom bought the ships for further service. CM Miniaturen have now made Tahitian Princess (ex- R-Four) and Adonia (ex-R-Eight). R-One is currently called Insignia for Oceania Cruises after a short spell for HAPAG as Columbus 2 from 2012-14.
