Bachmann OO 37-279A BR 27ton Steel Tippler Wagon Baxuite TOPS Stone Traffic

Model of a British Railways standard design vacuum braked tippler wagon for stone traffic, TOPS pool code 7663 with special wheeled STONE logo.
A fleet of these wagons was allocated for the Foster Yeoman and ARC quarries in the Mendips, operated mostly from Westbury (Wilts.) These wagons ran in block trains and under a managed preventive maintenance programme which saw the wagons regularly cycled through the BR Carriage & Wagon shops at Barton Hill in Bristol.
