Bluenose, a 285 ton schooner, famous for winning the 'International Fisherman's Trophy' in 1921 at aï¿½regatta,ï¿½held in alternate years, off Lunenberg in Nova Scotia and Gloucester in New England. Entry to the contest was strictly confined to genuine fishing vessels. After her victory, Bluenose went on to win every single race for which she was entered.
