The Tribal class frigate Zulu was built by Samuel White & Co./Cowes. The Tribals were 2300 ton displacement and 110m long, carrying 2 x 4.5" guns, 2 x Sea Cat systems, 1 x Mortar and a Wasp helicopter. Primarily intended for service in the Caribbean or Far East.
