Albatros 1/1250 Alk517 Sichuan LHD51, China PLAN Type 076 amphibious assault ship model

Sichuan is a metal 1/1250 scale waterline model of the China PLAN type 076 helicopter landing ship dock, pennant number 51 which was launched  in December 2024 at the Hudong-Zonghua shipyard in Shanghai. This ship is longer than the earlier Type 075 class ships and it is believed that she will havean electromagnetic catapult and an arrestor wire system for aircraft take off and landing and be able to fly off helicopters and drones.. The rear entry dock could contain landing craft, fast attack craft and sea drones, so this class appears to be veratile and adaptable ships. The ship is belieded to be gas turbine powered and has two islands with separate functions like the Queen Elizabeth class carriers Photographs of the model will follow shortly.
