Albatros 1/1250 ALK677 HMCS Protecteur Waterline Model
HMCS Protecteur is the lead ship of two new supply ships for the Canadian Coastguard Service and is expected to enter service in August, 2026. The two new joint support ships of the 2nd Protecteur class are the largest warships ever built in Canada. They are based on the German Berlin class, modified for the Canadian Navy. Built at Seaspan ULC/ Vancouver. 20,240t, 20kn, 173.7m long and 24m wide. Armament: 2x Phalanx CIWS, 4x 50 calibre RWS. In the enlarged hangar, two armed CH-148 Cyclone helicopters can be carried.
