Schubverband U 17 auf dem Rhein "U 17" Push-Tow Convoy on the Rhine In May 2023, the pusher tug "Pieter van der Wees" transported the pontoon "Lastdrager 27"— carrying the Type 206 submarine "U 17"— along the Rhine from the coast to the Technik Museum in Sinsheim. The pushtow convoy measured approximately 90 meters in length. A tilting mechanism allowed the submarine to be laid on its side to pass under bridges.
