Multipurpose ship of the Waterways and Shipping Administration of the Federal Republic of Germany. Three ships of this type have been commissioned and will replace the older ships of the same name. The commissioning of the 1st ship, the "Scharhörn," is scheduled for 2026. (Sister ships: MELLUM and NEUWERK). Shipyard: Abeking & Rasmussen/Lemwerder. Propulsion with LNG, 15 knots, length overall: 105 m, width: 20 m. Equipped for firefighting, oil spill and hazardous substance control, as well as the capability for emergency towing and buoy laying. Furthermore, the ships have a helicopter landing deck. Crew: 16, accommodation for 34 passengers.
