Cruise ship for Crociere d'Oltremare, completed in 1967. Shipyard: Cantieri Navale Felszegi in Trieste. Chartered to Princess Cruises and officially christened upon arrival in California. Thereafter used for cruises. From 1973 chartered to Costa Crociere - (condition of the model) - and used for cruises in the Caribbean. Sold in 1983 to Ocean Cruise Line, renamed OCEAN PRINCESS. After subsequent sales, it also sailed as SEA PRINCE, PRINCESA OCEANICA, and SAPPHIRE. Sold for scrapping in 2012. Specifications: 149m length overall, width: 21.5m, 12,263 GRT, propulsion via 2 screws, 21.4 knots max. Passengers: 562. The appearance was modeled after the 'Oceanic'.
