HMS Diana was designed by Sir John Henslow and built by Randall & Brent of Rotherhithe, one of the largest merchant builders in the country. After eleven months building the hull, Diana was launched on the 3rd of March 1794 and towed to the Royal Dockyard at Deptford for fitting out. This included masts, rigging, anchors, coppering of her bottom, ordnance and stores. On the 12th of June 1794 Diana was ready to receive her full crew and spent the next 6 1/2 weeks working up at the Nore. The total cost of building and fitting out was £23,000.

The Diana kit was designed from original Admiralty plans and contains CNC cut timber throughout. The extensive fittings include brass 18 and 9 pounder cannons; black and natural hemp for rigging and 2,300 scale copper plates. The kit is supplied with full size plans, comprehensive instruction manual and drawings.

HMS Agamemnon was a 64-gun third-rate ship of the line of the Royal Navy. She saw service in the American Revolutionary, French Revolutionary and Napoleonic Wars, and fought in many of the major naval battles of those conflicts. She is remembered as being Nelson's favourite ship, and was named after the mythical ancient Greek king Agamemnon, being the first ship of the Royal Navy to bear the name. The future Lord Nelson served as Agamemnon's captain from January 1793 for 3 years and 3 months, during which time she saw considerable service in the Mediterranean. After Nelson's departure, she was involved in the infamous 1797 mutinies at Spithead and the Nore, and in 1801 was present at the first Battle of Copenhagen, but ran aground before being able to enter the action.

The Agamemnon kit contains CNC cut walnut and ply components. The extensive fittings include four sheets of brass etched detailing, brass turned cannons, a set of four plank on frame ships boats, black and natural hemp for rigging and cast decorative fittings. The kit is supplied with full size plans, comprehensive instruction manual and drawings. The kit has been designed to depict the period when Nelson served on her.
