The world's first ever Vertical Take-Off and Landing (VTOL) aircraft is McDonnell Douglas' Harrier. This is a plastic assembly model kit of the AV-8B Harrier II, the evolved version that featured many improvements such as a larger fuselage, a variety of new materials, and a more powerful engine. The sharp style and the latest equipment of the Harrier II including the Angled Rate Bombing System (ARBS) have been faithfully rendered. The variable nozzles on the sides of the distinctive fuselage can be assembled to depict the aircraft hovering or in flight. A rich selection of ordnance including sidewinder missiles is included in the kit. Markings to depict a U.S. Marine's aircraft are also included.
