Italeri 1/72 7054 Bishop MK1 Self Propelled Gun Kit

This vehicle was developed using the hull of the Valentine armoured tank to equip the motorised units of the English army with an artillery self-propeller for the fire support of the armoured troops. The Bishop was equipped with a 25 Pounds ( 88 mm.) howitzer, obtained from the standard field cannon of the divisional artillery. The Bishop was quickly replaced with the American M7 Priest self-propeller due to the excessive dimensions of the tower which made it unstable
