Geneseesailed to Queenstown in 1918 and was used as a deep sea rescue vessel for the rest of the war and stayed in Europe until 1920 when she was allocated to the Far East. Thereafter she was stationed at Cavite and operated as a tug, ferry and target tow until she was scuttled at Corregedor in May 1942. Raised by the Japanese, she served as Patrol Boat 107 but was sunk by Task Group 38.3 off Lubang Island in 1944.
