Heljan O Gauge 4024 BR English Electric Class 50 Locomotive GW150 50007 Sir Edward Elgar
In preparation for the GWR 150th events in 1985 50007 (Hercules) was specially painted into GWR green with a bodyside lining stripe and renamed Sir Edward Elgar. The repainted locomotive was released to traffic in February 1984 and ran in this livery until 2012, through withdraw from BR service in 1994 and into preservation.
