Based on a typical GWR design, this style of fencing was of course relatively common in many places, being found alongside the platform, around the goods yard, engine shed and station entrance, as well as in many other non-railway settings. So the opportunities for the modeller to use this fencing on their layout will be wide and varied.
The mouldings are extremely fine and sharp, and the distinctive angled four-sided profile of the separate "spears" have been perfectly replicated. All components are moulded in black plastic and so can be left as they are, or painted if required. Careful modellers will easily be able to hang the gates on their hinges so that they can swing open. The spear tip of the fencing is true to the prototype and as a result the finished model will add plenty of character to any scene.
Contains 20 ramp panels, total length 890mm, 35 inches, plus 1 large and 2 small gates

Equivalent to Hornby R8073 and Bachmann 36-872 right hand point.

The standard points for most small/medium layouts, ST-240 (RH) and ST-241 (LH) points are compact, superior quality and drop in replacements for the Hornby equivalent. They can be easily motorised, either from above or below the baseboard with PL-10 under-track or PL-11 surface mounted point motors.

Turnout curve is 2nd radius 17.25in (438mm), angle 22.5 degrees. Length is 168mm (6 5/8in), equal to ST200 (Hornby R600) straights and the ST225 curves that can be used to bring sidings parallel to the main track. Two points of the same hand placed together will form a crossover from one track to another.

Setrack/Insulfrog points act as electrical switches - power is switched to the line selected. Fishplates are ready fitted and electrical contacts are good. Nickel-Silver rail provides long lasting performance.

Templates for Peco points are available from the Peco website.
