LNER J69 No. 359 came from an earlier batch of ten locomotives built at Stratford in 1892 and was rebuilt in 1904 into the R24r Class, gaining new safety valves, a new boiler design and 1180 gallon side tanks, but retaining the original narrow cab and coal bunker. No. 359 is portrayed in the earliest 1923 version of the LNER livery of Black with Red Lining, with fully shaded L&NER initials.DCC sound fitted.

The standard points for most small/medium layouts, ST-240 (RH) and ST-241 (LH) points are compact, superior quality and drop in replacements for the Hornby equivalent. They can be easily motorised, either from above or below the baseboard with PL-10 under-track or PL-11 surface mounted point motors.

The popular Class 46 Diesel Locomotive returns to the Bachmann Branchline range with this OO scale model depicting No. 46045 in BR Blue livery after its headcode panels were removed and sealed beam headlights were fitted. Together with the Class 44s and 45s the classes were commonly known as the ‘Peaks’, because the Class 44s had been named after mountains in England and Wales, however all but one of the 56 Class 46s went unnamed.
The single-ended GWR brake vans were withdrawn from traffic use in the 1960s, as national agreements with the unions required access to both ends of brake vans. However hundreds of the GWR vans found a home with the engineers who appreaciated the large enclosed van section and solid-sided veranda which prevented loose items and tools from being lost 'overboard' while travelling.Era 4/5 1948-1966
The ex-GWR brake vans were gradually withdrawn from general use under BR ownership as the brake wheel was outside the cabin, but many continued in service on Western region anyway. This van is labelled as being allocated to Banbury.Later the engineers found the enclosed verandahs to be most useful for the secure storage of tools etc, resulting the GWR vans being found all over the BR network well into the 1980s!Eras 4-5 1948-1966
