SU-100 - Soviet anti-tank SU-100 - Soviet anti-tank self-propelled artillery installation during the Second World War, a class of tank destroyers. It was created on the basis of the T-34/85 mid-tank by the Uralmashzavod design bureau in late 1943 - early 1944 as the further development of the T-34 due to inadequate capabilities in combating German heavy tanks. C 1951g. production of SU-100 under a Soviet license was carried out in Czechoslovakia. In total, 4976 ACS of this type were produced in the USSR and Czechoslovakia. The first combat application of SU-100 took place in January 1945. Subsequently, SU-100s were used in a number of operations of the Great Patriotic War and the Soviet-Japanese War.
