Zvezda 1/35 3617 Soviet BA-10 Armoured Car 1938 Plastic Kit

Production of the BA-10 armoured car started in 1938. Built on the basis of the GAZ-AAA three axle truck the body consisted of rolled armour plate. The rear hull was equipped with a turret mounting a 45mm gun paired with a 7.62mm machine gun. Another 7.62mm machine gun was mounted next to the driver. BA-10s were used widely by Soviet forces during the war with Finland in 1940 and on the Eastern front throught WW2. Ther German army captured a large number of BA-10s and used them as command and scout vehicles.
