Model of Hawksworth design GWR 15xx class 0-6-0PT pannier tank locomotive 1505 finished in lined black livery with early British Railways lion over wheel emblems and red back number plates. Old Oak Common shed painted a number of their pannier tanks in this very smart looking lined black livery as after taking in empty trains the engine would be waiting at the buffer stops in Paddington station as the passengers boarded.

Completed in August 1949 locomotive 1505 was sent to London Old Oak Common shed for empty coaching stock duties between the carriage sidings around the shed and Paddington station. 1505 stayed at Old Oak, being withdrawn from service there in May 1962.
