Rapido Trains 1/76 901010 Leyland Fleetline West Midlands Transport Early 6921 WDA921T Route 74

Designed by Daimler the Fleetline was the second rear-engine double-deck bus chassis to be produced by a British manufacturer, introduced in 1958. Merged with Leyland in 1968, the Daimler name continuing until the mid-1970s when it was replaced with Leyland brand. Birmingham City Transport, later West Midlands PTE, was the second largest Fleetline operator behind London Transport with well over 1,000, the last being withdrawn in 1997.
