Oxford Rail appear to have choosen the North British Railway 'Jubilee' design coal wagon with its distinctive heavily braced end door as the prototype for their 4 plank wagon. Wagons built to this design were also operated by a number of private owners, including collieries and merchants served by the North British so number of eye-catching liveries were carried by these robust looking wagons.
