The Hawker Tempest was an improved design of the RAF Typhoon. After a nearly complete redesign the Typhoon, the new airplane was re-designated Hawker Tempest. The Tempest proved to be a fast and capable fighter that distinguished itself in late WWII as one of the few fighters capable of intercepting and V-1 flying bomb and challenging the new German ME-262 jet fighter.
This new Minicraft 1/144 kit offers new markings for the aircraft and a clear stand for display in-flight as a desk top display or “on the ground with landing gear deployed.
Glue and paints are required to assemble.
