Hansa 1/1250 S117 USS Charles F Adams DDG 2 1964
A 1/1250 scale second-hand model of USS Charles F Adams DDG-2 in 1964 by Hansa S117. This model appears to have been re-painted in conformity with other models of US ships in his collection by the previous owner and it is in good condition, see photograph.
The Charles F Adams class were the first guided missile destroyers to be ordered in quantity by the US Navy. They were also sold to other navies (eg the West Germans as Lutjens-class, see the Albatros K-model).
