Graham Farish N 374-630 SR 50' Bogie B Luggage Van Southern Green
A new and detailed model of the Southern Railway Bogie B passenger luggage van.
These vans were used to haul the large volumes of luggage required by international ocean liner passengers and also for mail and express parcels services. Although steadily displaced by Mk.1 standard design vans a number of these Southern vans were still in regular service in 1980.
This model is painted in the Southern Railways' darker green livery. The orange panels indicate this vehicle has a stove fitted in the guards' office, as a steam train heating connection was not always available on parcels trains.
