The GWR London division required a basic 4 coach set for mainline suburban services running towards Maidenhead and Reading, often with two sets coupled together to make an 8 coach train. These services were headed by the more powerful 61xx class version of the 5101 large prairie tank design. (rtr models expected from Heljan).
Supplied as a complete set of 4 coaches comprising detailed models of GWR diagram D109 brake 3rd and E141 composite suburban coaches which were formed into four coach sets B3-C-C-B3.
